Yokogawa adds Profibus and Wired HART 7 to PRM

Yokogawa’s Plant Resource Manager (PRM) now supports Profibus DP/PA and Wired HART 7 devices with the release of the R3.05 upgrade. The integrated device management software package can be used to centrally manage, monitor and diagnose plant field devices.

Further enhancements include a new maintenance mark function, and the ability to run under Windows Server 2008. Through these and other enhancements, PRM can now be used to manage a wider range of devices online.

PRM already supports the Foundation fieldbus and HART protocols.
